Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Selah Global Ministries operates https://selahglobalministries.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit our website, contact us, submit a prayer request, purchase resources, or use our online activities.

1. Information you provide

Depending on how you use our services, you may provide:

  • Your name, email address, and other contact information.
  • Customer account and billing details.
  • Information about your purchases and support requests.
  • Prayer requests and messages submitted through our forms.
  • Answers, reflections, agreements, and other information saved in online activities, including the SHIFT Couples Action Pack.
  • Your preferences when subscribing to ministry updates.

Please provide only information necessary for your request or use of the service. Do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card details, account passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information about yourself or others.

2. Information collected automatically

Our website and service providers may collect technical information, including your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referral sources, and access times.

Cookies and similar technologies support website functions such as signing in, maintaining your shopping cart, remembering preferences, and protecting the service.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may prevent account, cart, or checkout features from working correctly.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics through Site Kit by Google to understand website traffic and interactions and improve our content.

Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information about pages visited, device and browser characteristics, referral sources, and interactions such as scrolling, link clicks, downloads, and supported conversion events. The information collected depends on the features and settings enabled.

Our current Site Kit configuration excludes logged-in users from its Analytics tracking.

You can learn about Google’s handling of information at:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google also provides an Analytics browser opt-out tool at:

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage customer accounts.
  • Process orders, deliver purchased resources, and manage refunds.
  • Confirm access to paid content.
  • Save and retrieve online activity answers and agreements.
  • Respond to prayer requests, questions, and support messages.
  • Send order confirmations, password-reset messages, and important service notices.
  • Send optional ministry updates when you subscribe.
  • Understand website performance and improve our services.
  • Investigate technical problems, fraud, and misuse.
  • Maintain appropriate records and meet applicable legal obligations.

You can unsubscribe from optional ministry emails using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us. Essential account and purchase messages may still be sent.

5. Prayer requests and ministry messages

Prayer requests are received and reviewed by David Israel for Selah Global Ministries.

Requests may pass through our website, hosting, and email systems. The providers operating these systems may process the information as part of delivering and storing your request.

We use prayer requests to provide prayer support and respond where appropriate. We will seek your permission before intentionally publishing an identifiable prayer request or testimony.

Please avoid including unnecessary identifying or sensitive information about other people.

Submitting a prayer request does not establish a professional counseling relationship or legal privilege.

6. SHIFT shared couples workspace

The SHIFT Ebook + Couples Action Pack uses one customer account for the purchasing couple.

Anyone using that account can view, change, or delete the answers and agreements saved within it. The workspace does not provide separate private journals for individual partners.

Only enter information you are comfortable sharing with the other person using your account. Obtain their permission before entering sensitive information about them.

Saved SHIFT answers are stored in encrypted form in the website database. This is not end-to-end encryption: the website must decrypt answers to display them, and authorized technical access may allow access to the information.

The workspace is not a confidential professional counseling service. Use care when entering information about relationships, health, finances, children, or other sensitive matters.

7. Payments and service providers

Payments are processed through WooPayments and its payment-processing partners. Payment details are handled through their systems. We receive information needed to manage purchases, such as payment status, transaction references, and limited payment-method details.

Other providers support website hosting, email delivery, security, and backups. Our current setup includes Hostinger hosting and backups managed through UpdraftPlus and stored in Google Drive.

These providers may process information needed to perform their services and may operate under their own privacy policies. Information may be stored or processed outside your state or country.

We do not sell contact lists.

We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, address misuse, or protect people and the service.

8. Public comments and external content

If you submit a public comment, the information you choose to publish may be visible to other visitors.

Our website may contain links or embedded content from other services. Visiting those links or interacting with embedded content may allow those services to collect information under their own privacy policies.

This policy does not govern external websites or services.

9. Information retention and deletion

We retain information according to its purpose, including providing account access, preserving saved work, responding to requests, maintaining transaction records, and meeting applicable obligations.

You may request deletion of your account information, prayer requests, or saved activity answers by contacting us. Certain transaction, security, or other records may need to be retained for legitimate recordkeeping or legal reasons.

Deleting information from the active website may not immediately remove it from existing backups. Backup copies remain until replaced or removed through the backup process.

For shared couples accounts, deleting workspace information affects everyone using that account. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request.

A refund ends access to the refunded product but does not automatically erase all associated records. Contact us separately if you also wish to request deletion.

10. Your choices and requests

You can review available account details through My Account and edit saved answers through the relevant online workspace.

Contact us to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. We will review your request according to applicable requirements and any permitted exceptions.

Please do not email passwords or sensitive identity documents. If verification is needed, we will explain what information is required and how to provide it.

11. Security

We use safeguards intended to protect information, including account access controls, encrypted website connections, and encrypted storage for saved SHIFT answers.

No website, email system, or storage method can guarantee complete security. Protect your login details and sign out when using a shared device.

Copies you download, print, export, or share are also subject to the security of the devices and services you use.

12. Children

Our customer accounts and couples workspaces are intended for adults. Please do not create an account for a child or submit unnecessary personal information about children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through our website, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The revised policy will show an updated date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a material change to how previously collected information is used.
